Wear it Well

So, I have a confession to make, I LOVE prints! Blouses with big prints, skirts with small prints, tees with bold prints and dresses with wild prints have a special section in my closet, not kidding. Most people enjoy their art on walls, or in photography. However, I prefer it on my clothing.
This fairly new style in the fashion industry called digital printing started appearing on the runway in 2010. Its main benefit (to me at least) is that the weight of the garment stays light. This trend eliminates having to use heavy textiles to achieve a certain look. I live in Houston where it’s extremely hot and humid year round so this is a huge deal with me!
I do have to give a little disclaimer before signing off though. It does take a certain kind of woman, with a certain kind of attitude to pull off the bold and wild prints (like pictured below). Confidence is a must have! But to the women that think they will never try the bold print for whatever reason, I’ll end by stating the following; it’s not what you wear that gets people’s attention. It’s how you wear it, so wear it well.
